How To Setup Your Loop Pedal The Right Way

So you bought a loop pedal? But, do you really know how to setup it up to get the most out of it?

Most loop pedals will have Stereo In’s and Stereo Out’s.

Most musicians will run their pedals in Mono and plug their instrument into the left channel and go directly out to their amp of choice.

Now, what do you do in if you want to loop more than just a single guitar? Perhaps you want to loop your Octave pedal Bass note on a different channel? Or, you have a StompBox you want to loop on a different channel so you have the freedom the get the right levels and EQ.

Well, in the video below I show you how to get the best out of your loop pedal without having to spend thousands on some super expensive setup. I am using my trusty Boss RC-30 in the video and since then I have upgraded to a Boss RC-500. All these principles still apply no matter what type of pedal you are using, and don’t be afraid to muck around with it a bit more.
