Walking Blues

What is the song that started my YouTube journey? I would have to say it was ‘Walkin’ Blues’. I mean, I had uploaded videos before but this was the first one that I really took a bit of effort and used something other than my phone to record.

I had recently purchased a new camera and a little mixing desk so I decided that I was going to make this video. It took me hours and hours to setup, all for 3 minutes and 49 seconds of some foot stomping, slide guitar. But hey, I think it turned out good for a first try.

So after recording this, I was amazed at the attention it was getting. The requests for tutorials started coming in, and 5 years later I finally got around to filming something.

It isn’t a complete tutorial but it is a good learner for people starting out with slide guitar and open tunings.
